We are pleased to announce that we are having our First Annual Holiday Coat & Toy Drive for children in our community this year.
The Holiday Season is upon us and the United Way of Delaware and Wilmington Public Library have partnered for this momentous season of giving to ensure – children experiencing poverty, and children in Foster Care– are not forgotten during the holidays.
Your generous donation will help ease this burden on those families this holiday season. We are collecting coats to provide children the gift of warmth this winter and collecting toys to bring the gift of joy.
Your gift of a new coat for a child ages Birth to 13 will ensure our most vulnerable population is prepared for the brutal winter to come. We need your help reaching our goal to provide 200 coats and toys to the community on December 11th, 2021 at the Wilmington Public Library.
Please purchase a toy worth about $20 for a boy or girl or a new coat, and drop it off between November 5th and December 8rth at the Wilmington Public Library located at 100 w. 10th street, Wilmington De.
