In honor of Martin Luther King King Jr, we are hosting a virtual Poverty Simulation. Poverty is a reality for many individuals and families. But unless you've experienced poverty, it's difficult to truly understand. United Way of Delaware's Poverty Simulation bridges that gap from misconception to understanding. UWDE's Poverty Simulation is an interactive immersion experience. It sensitizes community participants to the realities of poverty.
The simulation is not a game and is based on real life experiences from real clients. United Way of Delaware and its partners are coming together to present a interactive, virtual poverty simulation in honor of Martin Luther King, Jr's legacy.
Let's grow and learn in empathy. Then, work together to eradicate poverty.
