While corporate volunteer groups remain suspended due to COVID-19, we are currently seeking individuals who can commit to a minimum of 2 hours per week for at least one month – to volunteer in our ReStores. Our hope is to develop a core group of “regular” volunteers to assist in our ReStores located in Price’s Corner and Middletown.
Volunteers have been and will continue to be an integral part of Habitat achieving its mission here in New Castle County. Initially, all volunteer activities were suspended due to COVID-19. Since that time, we welcomed back some of our regular volunteers who offer 8 hours or more each month to Habitat NCC. We are also looking at how we can safely accommodate prospective homeowners on site, so they can achieve their sweat equity hours, and successfully complete our homeownership program.
