What is The Do-Good-A- Thon?
The Do-Good-A-Thon is a state-wide service and kindness contest designed to cause a contagious influx of positive actions over a six-week period. Follow this link to learn more: http://www.starfishcasters.org/ and our partner organizations.
How does it work?
- Participants track and measure the number of service acts using the entry form or UVolunteer Portal.
- Participants perform acts of service for strangers at individual or community level.
- Keep a record of the acts on the entrance form and get the stranger to sign the sheet as proof of service. Or log your volunteer hours on the UVolunteer portal. https://volunteer.uwde.org/
- Get a team and work collectively to complete acts of service.

The Do-Good-A-Thon is a game that we've invented to highlight the positive interactions between strangers. This means interacting with people you don't know. We want to highlight that all these interactions should be done so with CAUTION. Minors should be supervised by a parent, guardian, or trusted adult. Please never interact with unknown individuals by yourself and without an adult! For ways to engage and help strangers virtually or indirectly please visit https://volunteer.uwde.org/
