YWCA Delaware leads critical social change and advocates for women, girls and their families by offering housing, domestic violence prevention, economic empowerment, racial justice, sexual assault crisis and youth programming. Our organization is widely recognized as the highly effective, inclusive and uplifting force that empowers women to achieve their full social and economic potential, helps families and strengthens our community.
What We Do
Established in Delaware in 1895 as a voice for women’s issues, YWCA Delaware continues to evolve to meet today’s challenges in eliminating racism and empowering women. We are On A Mission to work tirelessly for women and people of color, improve lives and strengthen communities in three signature areas where we can have the most impact:
