Modern Maturity Center

The Modern Maturity Center's mission is to provide programs and services that will enhance the quality of life, with dignity and respect, for older adults.

We have been in operation for 48 years and currently have 23,000 plus members. The Modern Maturity Center offers a wide range of recreational, social, educational and fitness opportunities for adults age 50 and above. In addition, the center provides a professionally staffed wellness center and mature adult care center. The Mature Adult Neighborhood Nutrition Agency (M.A.N.N.A.) sponsored by MMC serves more than 800 homebound seniors five days a week through the Meals on Wheels program. They also serve an average of 700 congregate meals each weekday at six sites throughout Kent County. Because we have first-hand experience dealing with older adults, we continuously seek ways to meet their needs with innovative ways to integrate services under one roof, such as physical therapy services, caregiver resource center and various support groups.
