Join the Student EmPOWERment Summit 2/Cumbre de Empoderamiento Estudiantil Planning Committee as an adult volunteer and play a key role in empowering students to plan a meaningful, student-centered event.
As a committee member, you’ll work alongside students to help bring their ideas to life, providing guidance, logistical support, and encouragement as they make decisions around workshops, speakers, vendors, food, and more. This is a unique opportunity to mentor, uplift young voices, and help create an inclusive and empowering event.
Your Role:

Support students in turning their ideas into reality

Assist with behind-the-scenes logistics (vendors, schedules, etc.)

Offer guidance while encouraging student decision-making

About the event:
The Student EmPOWERment Summit 2 is a half-day convening dedicated to empowering and supporting members of Latinos Unidos Student Unions & Associations, along with their advisors, school administrators, and allies. This event fosters collaboration, leadership, and advocacy to create more inclusive educational experiences for all students. Open to all races and ethnicities, attendees will engage in meaningful discussions and share strategies to drive positive change within their schools and communities.
