BookNook is a synchronous online learning platform designed to enhance K-8 literacy skills through individual and small-group guided reading instruction and high-impact tutoring. BookNook training will be provided.
Reading Guides support needed Monday, Wednesday, and Friday's from 7:30am-8:30am. Additional background checks and trainings may be required.

Volunteer Responsibilities:
1. Work with small groups of no more than six students or one-on-one with individual students for 30 minutes.
2. The student will read to the volunteer, who will identify challenges such as comprehension, spelling, vocabulary, etc.
3. Build rapport and comfort by consistently working with the same individual or group of students.
4. Volunteers are encouraged to work individually at the designated partner location. However, virtual options are also available.
